vBSSO Access Settings in details
You can customize your vBSSO Access Settings to make your site access suiting your individual needs.
The following options are available in vBSSO Access Settings in vBSSO menu:
vBulletin AC>vBSSO>Access Settings.
The vBSSO Access Settings are divided in 3 types:
Allowed User Groups For example: - Allowed User Groups: 1,2,3,4. This will mean that all 4 groups will have a permission to be authenticated in all platforms, but the first and the second - only in WordPress, the third and the fourth - only in Joomla.
Allowed User Groups: here you can specify group id that will have the permission to be authenticated via vBSSO connection. Those users group id who are not specified in Allowed User Groups will be authenticated ONLY in vBulletin but not in the connected platforms.
1. Connect vBSSO WordPress, vBSSO Joomla and vBSSO vBulletin.
2. Fill in these fields:
- Allowed WordPress User Groups: 1,2.
- Allowed Joomla User Groups: 3,4.
Associated User Groups For example: 1. Connect vBSSO WordPress, vBSSO Joomla and vBSSO vBulletin. 2. Fill in these fields: This will mean that those users who had registered or logged via connected platform will be added automatically to saved in these field user groups - to the first user group in WordPress, and to the third - in Joomla.Associated User Groups: here you can specify group id that will be have the permission to be associated via vBSSO connection. You can ignore this option, in case you are already inserted groups id in `Allowed User Groups`option. But if you will have two platforms you can separately set up groups id for the each connected platform.
- Associated WordPress User Groups: 1.
- Associated Joomla User Groups: 3.
Login Access Settings For example: 1. Connect vBSSO WordPress, vBSSO Joomla and vBSSO vBulletin. This will mean that those users who were authenticated on vBulletin can be authenticated on all connected platforms - vBSSO WordPress, vBSSO Joomla and vBSSO vBulletin. Those users who were authenticated on WordPress can be authenticated on WordPress and vBulletin (but not on Joomla - put the ✓to include Joomla and press Save). Those users who were authenticated on Joomla can be authenticated on Joomla and vBulletin (but not on WordPress - to include WordPress put ✓ in front of it and press Save button).
Login Access Settings: points the platform on which user will be authenticated (depends on the platform on which the login event is invoked).
